A short biography.
Karmin Fouché is a South African author, based in the UAE, writing about ordinary behaviour, emotional patterns and the person underneath.
Her work explores the small things people do, what those behaviours may be protecting, and what becomes visible when we replace quick judgement with closer attention.
She writes two series: The Why We Do That Series, on empathy, behaviour and the patterns people carry into work and daily life, and The Repair Series, on healing, love and the person underneath the one you learned to be.
Made Sense Once.
Across both series, one idea keeps returning: the things we do are rarely meaningless. A habit, defence, role or private rule usually made sense once. The books begin there, with curiosity rather than shame, then ask what still belongs.

Before publishing under her own name, Karmin spent more than a decade writing in other people’s voices, including more than thirty published books. She has a background in communication, media and psychology.

She holds a BA in Communication Science with postgraduate studies in psychology, and an Honours in Media Studies cum laude.
